Although she was born in the UK, Natalie Frost was raised and schooled in Dubai, in the Middle East. Already planning a career in acting, and with very few theatre opportunities in the U.A.E, she made the decision to move to Surrey, England, where she attended the highly regarded performing arts school Hurtwood House. After completing A levels in Theatre Studies, English Literature and French, Natalie was offered a place to begin her conservatory training at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
Following a year of intensive training, and gaining her Diploma in Acting, she became a founding member of a long-form improvisation company, The Scatpack (now known as Olivier and Tony Award winning 'Mischief Theatre' performing both on the West End and on Broadway). The Scatpack performed their first show “Let’s See What Happens” at The Questors Studio Theatre in Ealing, London. The initial show ran for a week before moving to The Edinburgh Festival for an enormously successful and sell-out run.
Having had a taste of the industry, Natalie yearned to strengthen the scope of her acting ability. She was accepted into the reputable American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York. After completing two further years conservatory training, and gaining an Associate Degree in Acting, Natalie graduated with the distinct honor of being awarded the Academy’s highest accolade, the Charles Jehlinger Award for Best Actress, of which previous winners include Spencer Tracey, Robert Redford, Kirk Douglas and Anne Bancroft. She was subsequently invited to join the Academy Theatre Company, where she performed in a number of distinguished productions including ‘The Memory of Water’ - Shelagh Stephenson, ‘The Veil’ - Conor McPherson, ‘The Clean House’ - Sarah Ruhl and ‘Improbable Fiction’ - Alan Ayckbourn.
While based in New York, Natalie performed in a number of theater productions (both off-Broadway and regionally), been involved in workshops/staged readings of new works, acted in a number of sketch comedy new media projects featured on Funny or Die (one of which has been used as a national commercial), and has booked a number of voiceovers including one for a major financial company, a short film, and narrating a commercial which ran on California's tv station 'KCET'. Natalie has also put her hand to writing, having very recently co-written, starred in and co-produced new comedy web-series currently in post-production. She is now living and working in Los Angeles, having been granted an 01 artist's visa for extraordinary ability.
